The annual Santa Barbara Culinary Experience is a week-long food & drink celebration inspired by Julia Child’s love and appreciation for Santa Barbara County’s food scene.

In partnership with The Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and the Culinary Arts, the Santa Barbara Culinary Experience works closely with local talent in hospitality, agriculture, tourism, wine, small business, and other local food nonprofits to create a series of unique food and drink experiences to engage the public in learning, discovery and fun. From panel discussions to tastings to pop-up events and special dinners, we immerse you in what makes Santa Barbara County a must-visit food and drink destination.

Proceeds from the Santa Barbara Culinary Experience’s annual week-long series of events, and other pop-up events throughout the year, are used to make grants to other local nonprofit organizations that are making a difference in Santa Barbara County’s food system.
