🎥On the 20th anniversary of the film that changed the world of pinot noir and the Santa Ynez Valley, Frank Ositini @hitchingpost2 , Eli Parker @fessparkerwinery , and Laura Roach @sanfordwinery discussed the making of the movie and its impacts.

NEW GRAPES FROM THE OLD WORLD
🌎The second panel focused on grape varietals that are "new" in Santa Barbara County but have deep roots in the Old World. Kyle Knapp @pressgang poured a mencia wine originally from Spain, Nate Axline @rznwines shared a French Rhône Valley style clairette blanche and Colin McNany @marbesowine brought a gamay noir of the French Beaujolais appellation for guests to taste.

PINOT NOIR PROS
🍇Our final panel of the day featured three local pinot noir winemakers: Doug Margerum of @margerumwines , Ernst Storm of @stormwines and Dusty Nabor of @dustynaborwines . They took a deep dive into the grape so prevalent in Santa Barbara County winemaking.
