Take a tour of Trinity Gardens, a vibrant non-profit community garden nestled in the foothills of Santa Barbara. On this informative tour you will learn the best practices of organic gardening and the many benefits of composting and vermiculture. You’ll be guided past garden beds, through fruit orchards, and into the greenhouse all while learning about what makes Santa Barbara’s growing-climate so unique. Each guest is provided with a bag to fill with fresh produce from the garden to take home. To cap off this visit, the Organic Soup Kitchen will provide scrumptious soups made with fresh, seasonal ingredients from the garden for your to enjoy. You will leave feeling inspired after learning about the wonderful partnership these two organizations have cultivated to promote healthy and sustainable living in the community. This is a family-friendly event and we encourage kids to join in on the fun!

Trinity Gardens is a community garden committed to organic, closed loop farming practices and supporting their community. Fresh produce from their harvests are regularly donated to local organizations in need, such as Organic Soup Kitchen and the Santa Barbara City College Food Pantry.
Organic Soup Kitchen Bio:
Organic Soup Kitchen is a non-profit that provides metabolic oncology nutrition and food security to support the health and wellness of low-income seniors and other individuals with cancer or chronic illness. They cook nutrient dense, plant-based soups with local Santa Barbara produce and ingredients.
A portion of the proceeds from the Taste of Santa Barbara will contribute to the Santa Barbara Culinary Experience, in collaboration with The Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and the Culinary Arts, furthering our shared commitment to culinary excellence and cultural enrichment.
