Julia Child inspired so many of our local chefs and her passion for good food made with local ingredients will forever echo from their kitchens. Julia and her beloved husband, Paul, were known to entertain friends with cocktails, many of them crafted by Paul, who was known for his custom libations. Explore Santa Barbara County’s most loved bars and restaurants for food and cocktail specials created in their honor.

Starting Monday, May 15 through the end of May, the following restaurants and bars will host Julia Child–inspired a la carte specials and Paul Child-inspired cocktails in addition to their regular menu offerings. Please check individual restaurant and bar websites for hours, reservation requirements, and offering details.

All participating businesses will donate $2 from each Julia and Paul Child–inspired menu item to benefit the Santa Barbara Culinary Experience in partnership with The Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and Culinary Arts.
