Piazza Family Wines is a boutique winery dedicated to crafting small-production wines that express a true sense of place. With a deep respect for terroir, we take a minimal intervention approach, allowing each vintage to authentically reflect the vineyard, climate, and growing conditions of the year. Our focus is on balance, purity, and elegance, ensuring that every bottle tells the story of where it came from.
We proudly farm and produce wines from two estate vineyards: Bella Vista Vineyard in Ballard Canyon, which is CCOF-certified organic, and Mt. Carmel Vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills, an iconic site with a rich history as the second oldest vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills. Mt. Carmel was originally planted by our owners, Ron and Nancy Piazza, and has since become known for producing wines of exceptional depth and complexity.
Our winemaking philosophy is a balance of art and science, blending gentle, thoughtful craftsmanship with a deep respect for the purity of the grape and the land it comes from. We believe that great wines begin in the vineyard, which is why we work with organic and sustainable farming practices to preserve the health of the land for future generations.
