On this special evening, the Magic Castle Cabaret in Montecito will open its doors to the public in celebration of The Santa Barbara Culinary Experience, in collaboration with Epicurean Santa Barbara. Like the Magic Castle Hollywood, founders Milt and Arlene Larsen designed this unique private club to transport guests to a timeless era of old world elegance. The intimacy of the rooms, and Milt and Arlene’s warmth make for a welcoming and friendly atmosphere that would make Julia proud.

Guests will be offered up to three beverages; try one of the signature cocktails that celebrate Julia. Drinks such as “Ms. Child’s Martini”,  inspired by Julia’s affinity for vermouth, or “Paul’s Tourmaline”, a bright red libation crafted from Paul Child’s original recipe. Also available will be locally sourced wine and beer, a selection of snacks and provisions, and live 1920’s music guaranteed to evoke the past and delight those gathered for a late night of fun, magic and celebration. In true Magic Castle style, two magicians will be performing among the guests…Prepare to be amazed!
